Realty Capital’s Tom Hankins Becomes Industry Power Player This Year As He Takes On Multiple Top Industry Posts for Region and State

ORLANDO, Fla. (January 19, 2006) — Tom Hankins, CCIM, SIOR, a 20-year commercial real estate veteran and senior vice president at Realty Capital (one of the largest independently owned firms in the region) is leading one industry group and holding key positions with four others this year.

Hankins is at the helm of the Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society (CFCRES) serving as the 2006 president. He was appointed to the current Orlando Regional Realtors Association’s (ORRA) Board of Directors as a CFCRES representative. After serving as the 2005 Florida Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute Chapter President, he is now a member of the organization’s current Strategic Planning Committee and Partners Advisory Board. He was also elected to its national Board of Directors and serves as the Florida/Puerto Rico Regional Vice President for 2006. He is the 2006 Vice Chair of Commercial Alliance for the Florida Association of Realtors. And, as the representative for ORRA, he serves on this year’s Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission’s Executive Committee.
